Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Advance Security Solutions LDA (A.S.S. LDA) is a company registered in Mozambique, NUIT 400519579, with its office at Av. Josina Machel, #1091, Bairro Alto Maé B, Maputo. We supply and install CCTV, access control and network solutions. For the purposes of this policy, we are the controller of the personal data described below.

2. What we collect and why

• Contact form: your name, email address and message. We use these to answer your enquiry.
• Quote request form: your name, email address, phone number, the kit or service you are interested in and any details you add. We use these to prepare and send you a quotation and to follow up on it.
• Technical data: when you load a page, our hosting provider records your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is standard server logging and we use it to keep the site secure and working.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and from which countries and devices. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google. We see aggregated reports, not your name.

Both forms include a hidden field that only automated bots fill in. We use it to drop spam submissions. It does not collect anything from real visitors.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We do not use it for advertising networks or profiling.
• We do not send marketing emails unless you asked us to.

4. Who we share data with

To run this website we rely on a few service providers. They process data on our behalf and only for the purposes described here.

• Supabase: hosts the database where form submissions are stored.
• Cloudflare: hosts and delivers the website and keeps the server logs.
• Google: provides Google Analytics.

These providers may store data on servers outside Mozambique. We also share data when the law requires it, for example with a court or a public authority.

5. How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept while we need them to answer you and to keep a record of quotations and orders. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which Google deletes it.

6. Cookies

The site itself does not set login or tracking cookies for visitors. The only cookies come from Google Analytics (names starting with _ga). You can block or delete them in your browser settings and the site will still work normally. You can also install Google's browser add-on to opt out of Analytics.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop using it for a particular purpose.

Send your request to vendas@asslda.com from the email address you used with us, so we can confirm it is you. We answer within a reasonable time and without charge.

8. Security

Form data travels over HTTPS and is stored in a database that only authorised staff can access. No system is perfectly secure. If we ever learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you.

9. Links to other sites

Our pages link to our social media profiles and to manufacturer websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

10. Children

This website is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. Important changes stay noted on this page for a while, so that returning visitors notice them.

12. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Mozambique.
